About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in building and testing quantitative models for algorithmic trading, portfolio management, and risk management using Python 2. Support the development of algorithmic trading strategies based on quantitative analysis and statistical models 3. Contribute to the development of risk models to assess market, credit, and operational risks for investment portfolios 4. Use SQL and data manipulation tools to extract, clean, and process large financial datasets 5. Develop data pipelines for continuous data ingestion and analysis, ensuring high-quality and accurate data for financial models 6. Work with big data platforms and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) to handle and analyze market data efficiently 7. Help in the development of portfolio optimization algorithms based on modern portfolio theory, asset pricing models, and other quantitative techniques 8. Apply machine learning techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning to model financial data and predict asset prices or market movements 9.
