Job Description

About the job Key Responsibilities: 1. Distribution Network Development: - Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and wholesalers in key markets to expand product availability. - Build and nurture relationships with master distributors, sub-distributors, and stockists to ensure seamless distribution. - Conduct regular market visits to assess distributor performance, product availability, and market trends. 2. Retail Channel Development (Supermarkets): - Drive product placement in leading supermarkets such as D-Mart, Nature's Basket, Foodhall, Big Bazaar, and other premium retail stores. - Negotiate listings, shelf placements, and promotional agreements with retail chains. - Ensure timely replenishment and stock rotation to prevent stockouts or wastage. - Collaborate with the marketing team to implement in-store promotions, sampling, and product visibility campaigns. 3. HORECA Channel Development: - Identify and onboard HORECA clients, including hotels, restaurants, cafes, and catering businesses, to increase product adoption. - Develop tailored sales strategies and promotional campaigns to target key players in the HORECA segment. - Conduct product presentations and tastings for chefs, procurement managers, and decision-makers. - Monitor feedback from HORECA clients to improve offerings and meet customer requirements. 4. Sales Operations: - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in both retail and HORECA segments. - Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics, and recommend actionable insights. - Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and address challenges. Submit regular sales and performance reports to the management team. Requirements: Education & Experience: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2. 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, frozen food, or plant-based food products. 3. Proven track record of developing distribution networks and onboarding retail and HORECA clients. Skills & Competencies: 1. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. 2. Excellent knowledge of distribution, retail, and HORECA sales processes. 3. Ability to identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and close deals.
