About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in creating new textile and garment designs tailored to international market trends and client preferences. 2. Work on innovative patterns, prints, and color combinations for collections. 3. Conduct research on global fashion trends, fabric preferences, and seasonal styles to align designs with current market demands. 4. Analyze competitors' designs and provide insights to the design team. 5. Collaborate with the production team to develop fabric swatches, prototypes, and garment samples. 6. Ensure the quality of samples matches export standards and client expectations. 7. Assist in preparing design presentations and mood boards for clients. 8. Incorporate client feedback into design revisions and improvements. 9. Work closely with the sourcing team to select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for the designs. 10. Ensure materials meet export requirements and quality standards. 11. Create and maintain tech packs, including detailed sketches, specifications, and measurements for designs. 12. Update design portfolios and maintain a database of designs for future reference. 13. Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions for new collections and campaigns. 14. Suggest unique design elements that align with the brand's identity. 15. Assist in styling and preparing products for photoshoots or presentations. 16. Collaborate with the marketing team on creating promotional material for the designs.
