Lisbon Ferrao- Head of Eyesea India Lisbon Ferrao leads Eyesea's work in India, fighting ocean pollution with smart technology and community action. This combination allows for a better use of resources to drive clean-up efforts. What does Lisbon do? Runs beach cleanups that remove 75-100 tons of plastic trash every year. Create a community that uses software tools to map pollution, manage waste better, and working with the local groups to create other great initiatives to not only recover our environment but also support the people. Under Lisbon's guidance, Eyesea India has grown to help more coastal areas, found new ways to collect and reuse trash, and taught thousands of volunteers to use technology for cleaning up, Lisbon wants to build strong, green-minded communities across India. His work shows how Eyesea uses data and technology to solve global pollution problems with a sustainable model.
