About the internship We are looking for an SEO Intern to join our Marketing team. This internship comes with the potential for a performance-based job opportunity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Keyword research and analysis: - Use tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to discover new keywords. - Analyze search volume, competition, and relevance for targeted audiences. - Regularly update and refine keyword lists for ongoing SEO campaigns 2. Technical SEO: - Conduct website audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs. - Monitor site speed and performance through Google PageSpeed Insights. - Fix technical issues such as crawl errors, mobile usability, and indexing problems. 3. Content management: - Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly blog posts and web pages. - Refresh outdated content and improve readability for better optimization. - Ensure content aligns with current SEO trends and best practices. 4. Link building: - Research and engage with relevant websites for backlink opportunities. - Monitor the quality of backlinks and disavow harmful links when necessary. - Implement link-building strategies such as guest blogging, directory submissions, and creating shareable infographics. 5. Analytics and reporting: - Track SEO performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console. - Prepare weekly or monthly reports on key metrics like organic traffic, bounce rates, and click-through rates (CTR). - Analyze competitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
