Job description Design Engineer Internship Job Summary: The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing 2D and 3D designs using Creo Parametric software. This role involves working on various design projects, from concept through to production, ensuring that designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in Creo Parametric, and experience in producing detailed engineering drawings and models. Key Responsibilities: • Design Development: Create and modify 2D and 3D designs using Creo Parametric. Develop detailed models, assemblies, and drawings based on project requirements and specifications. • Technical Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions. • Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and test designs. Make necessary revisions based on test results and feedback. • Design Optimization: Analyze and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design requirements are met and projects are completed on time. • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve design-related issues and challenges that arise during the development and manufacturing processes. • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Creo Parametric and industry best practices to enhance design capabilities and processes. • Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. • Skills: • Proficiency in Creo Parametric for creating and modifying 2D and 3D designs. • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices. • Ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings and technical documentation. • Familiarity with prototyping, testing, and optimization processes. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Certifications: [Relevant certifications, if any] Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with other CAD software or design tools. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. • Experience with project management and coordination.
