About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assisting in developing and refining OR models and algorithms to optimize public transport routes and schedules 2. Working with OR tools like OptaPlanner/Timefold to solve complex transport planning problems 3. Analyzing large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in public transport systems 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including transport planners and software developers, to implement solutions 5. Preparing detailed reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. are available for full time (in-office) internship 2. can start the internship between 8th Nov'24 and 13th Dec'24 3. are available for duration of 3 months 4. have relevant skills and interests * Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
