Role Description We are seeking a motivated Data Science and Machine Learning Intern for a full-time paid internship position at Avatara in Noida/Delhi. Qualifications And Skills • Must possess excellent data analysis skills to effectively interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights (Mandatory skill). • Proficiency in data visualization techniques to create clear and compelling visual representations of data (Mandatory skill). • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently in data processing (Mandatory skill). • Knowledge of SQL for efficient data retrieval and management across relational databases. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel for organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data effectively. • Understanding of basic statistical concepts to apply appropriate methods in data analysis. • Ability to use Python for data manipulation, analysis, and to automate repetitive processes. • Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning. • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. • Critical thinking skills to evaluate data critically and improve analytical processes continuously. Roles And Responsibilities • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to support data-driven decision-making in business operations. • Develop data visualizations in tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate insights to stakeholders clearly. • Collaborate with team members to design and implement processes that enhance data quality and consistency. • Assist in developing reports and dashboards by querying databases and compiling insights from multiple data sources. • Utilize SQL queries to manage data efficiently and retrieve necessary information for analysis. • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and optimize processes. • Support ad-hoc data requests and provide insights by applying statistical methodologies and data models. • Continuously seek opportunities to improve data analysis processes and contribute to the development of best practices. • Maintain meticulous documentation of data analysis processes, findings, and insights for future reference and learning.
