About the internship Location: Okhla Phase-3, Delhi Stipend: 10 - 15k per month Working Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM, 6 days a week with Tuesday as the weekly off Experience: 0-2 years About Us: At ScrapUncle, we are reshaping waste management with our convenient platform that empowers users to schedule doorstep pickups for recyclables such as paper, metals, plastics, and e-waste. Having been featured on Shark Tank India Season 2, we've successfully completed over 100,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and processed more than 10 million kgs of recyclables. We're also proud recipients of the prestigious Urban Works Challenge by Columbia University. Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service/ Customer Support Intern to be a vital part of our operations team. This role involves ensuring smooth daily scrap pickup operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and continuously improving our support processes. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Pickup Confirmation: Conduct outbound calls to confirm customer availability, answer queries, and ensure smooth scheduling. 2. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer care via phone and WhatsApp, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally. 3. Pickup Coordination: Efficiently allocate pickups to drivers, optimizing routes to ensure timely and effective collections. 4. Issue Resolution: Serve as the main point of contact between customers and the pickup team, effectively managing complaints and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience. We were featured and funded on Shark Tank India Season 2. We have completed 50,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and sent around 2.5 million kgs of junk and recyclables to recycling units. We are also the winners of the Urban Works Challenge hosted by Columbia University.
