Job Description
Data Collection and Entry: * Accurately collecting employee details such as name, date of birth, date of joining, salary, etc. * Entering this data into the relevant software or online portals. * Calculation of Contributions: * Calculating the employer's and employee's contributions to PF and ESI based on the applicable rates and salary structures. * Challan Generation: * Generating challans (payment vouchers) for PF and ESI contributions using the designated government portals. * Payment Processing: * Facilitating the online or offline payment of PF and ESI contributions through various channels (e.g., net banking, bank challan). * Record Keeping: * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all PF and ESI transactions, including challans, payment receipts, and employee details. * Compliance Monitoring: * Staying updated with the latest PF and ESI regulations and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. * Reconciliation: * Reconciling payroll data with PF and ESI contributions to identify and resolve discrepancies. * Reporting: * Preparing and submitting required reports to authorities, such as PF and ESI returns. * Addressing Queries: * Responding to queries from employees and authorities regarding PF and ESI matters. Important Considerations: * Accuracy: Maintaining accuracy in data entry and calculations is crucial to avoid penalties and ensure compliance. * Timeliness: Timely payment of PF and ESI contributions is essential to avoid late payment penalties and maintain a good compliance record. * Confidentiality: Handling employee data with utmost confidentiality and adhering to data privacy regulations. * Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of changes in PF and ESI laws and regulations is vital for accurate compliance.
