Key responsibilities: Site set-up and layout: Conducting site surveys, establishing benchmarks, and marking out construction areas according to project plans. Construction supervision: Directly overseeing daily construction activities, including earthworks, concrete pouring, structural steel erection, and utility installation, ensuring compliance with design specifications. Quality control: Implementing quality assurance procedures, inspecting materials and workmanship, and identifying and resolving any quality issues. Technical guidance: Providing technical advice to subcontractors and site workers on construction methods and resolving technical challenges. Progress monitoring: Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions. Cost management: Monitoring project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing budgets. Safety compliance: Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations on site, conducting safety inspections, and addressing safety concerns. Documentation and reporting: Maintaining detailed site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports. Stakeholder communication: Liaising with project managers, clients, architects, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to coordinate project activities. Material management: Overseeing the procurement, delivery, and storage of construction materials.
