About the internship
B2B SaaS Sales Internship - Datazip
Are you a driven, tech-savvy individual with a passion for data infrastructure and analytics? Datazip is seeking a B2B SaaS Sales Intern who is eager to dive into the world of SaaS sales and contribute to our mission. This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a fast-growing company, working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to drive growth and build lasting customer relationships.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
a. Market Research & Customer Understanding
1. Conduct detailed market research to identify potential customer segments and understand their needs.
2. Help create a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy by analyzing industry trends and customer behavior.
b. Outbound Sales Efforts
1. Assist in developing outbound sales campaigns to engage potential clients.
2. Use tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Sales Navigator for targeted marketing outreach.
3. Support the sales team in setting up and managing automated marketing and outreach workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. A background in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2. Some experience with data or SaaS products, whether in sales, marketing, or analytics.
3. Basic knowledge of marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Sales Navigator) and SEO fundamentals.
4. Strong analytical skills, with a knack for turning data into insights.
5. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
6. Self-starter mentality with an eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Datazip software-as-a-service, which is a no-code, scalable, all-in-one, data stack (data operations) for organizations to ingest, store, transform and visualize data, resulting in fast data-driven decision making. We are providing ingestion with 150+ sources, data warehousing, data analytics (BI tool), and data transformation solutions as a whole managed stack.
Problem we are trying to solve: Companies are only spending 11% of the time unraveling value out of data (needed to take business & strategy decisions). Most of the time is spent on data pipeline management & infrastructure maintenance.
