About the internship Business Development (Sales) Intern Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various channels (online research, databases, social media). Generate and qualify leads based on target audience criteria. Client Outreach: Reach out to potential clients via email, phone, and social media to initiate conversations and build relationships. Set up meetings or calls with clients to discuss their needs and present the company's offerings. Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing presentations, sales pitches, and proposals. Follow up with prospective clients on inquiries and help nurture leads through the sales pipeline. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive analysis. Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions. CRM Management: Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate client and prospect information. Track interactions and help manage the sales pipeline. Sales Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, client meetings, and lead conversion rates. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve sales strategies. Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to align business development efforts with ongoing campaigns. Work closely with senior business development executives to understand client requirements and deliver value propositions. Administrative Tasks: Support with scheduling meetings, making calls, and handling communication between clients and the sales team. Learning & Growth: Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and learn about sales strategies and business development best practices.
