Expectations for Hiring a BDE (Internship & Full-Time) 1. Professional Skills & Experience Lead Generation: Ability to research and generate new business leads through various channels (cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, etc.). Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities to close deals and build client relationships. Market Understanding: Knowledge of industry trends, competitor analysis, and the ability to position the company’s services effectively. CRM Proficiency: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is a plus. Presentation Skills: Ability to create and present effective sales pitches and presentations tailored to potential clients. 2. Behavioral Attributes Proactive & Self-Motivated: The candidate should take the initiative in lead generation, market research, and client outreach. Results-Oriented: Strong focus on meeting sales targets, closing deals, and achieving business growth goals. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Team Player: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to achieve shared goals. 3. Educational Background A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is typically required. Relevant experience or internships in sales, business development, or client-facing roles is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level roles. 4. Personal Attributes Strong Work Ethic: Dedication to continuous learning and achieving sales targets. Time Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
