This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on scalable systems and gain experience in backend technologies. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side logic, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency of applications. • Build and integrate APIs for web and mobile applications. • Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and manage data effectively. • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in existing systems. • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Implement security and data protection measures. • Document code and maintain clear and organized project records. Requirements • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Basic understanding of server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, PHP, or Ruby). • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration. • Understanding of version control systems like Git. • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Eagerness to learn and work with new tools and technologies. Preferred Skills (Optional) • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). • Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. • Understanding of software testing and debugging practices.
