Backend Development

About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: - Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance - Create well designed, testable, efficient code - Participate in all phases of the development life-cycle - Assist in the preparation and production of releases of software components Ensure database designs are in compliance with specifications - Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review, in order to support continuous improvement - Ability to integrate and utilise third party APIs and services. Required Skills : - Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in backend development. - Deployed end to end products which use REST APIs. - Familiarity with GoLang is a plus. - Ability to model yourself to work with new languages and technologies. - Knowledge of using Docker, OAuth, Firebase , Elastic etc., - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. - Experience with version control such as Git and GitHub.
