Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Designing, implementing, and deploying backend services to support new product features and enhance existing ones
2. Developing robust APIs to support frontend applications and external integrations, ensuring scalability and security
3. Maintaining and optimizing databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for reliable data storage and efficient querying
4. Improving application performance by optimizing server-side code, database queries, and ensuring low-latency responses
5. Leveraging Docker and Kubernetes to containerize services and manage clusters, ensuring scalability and streamlined deployments
6. Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code, and maintaining technical documentation for all backend processes
7. Working closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to align backend development with business goals and client needs
8. Implementing best practices for data security, patient confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare industry standards
