About the internship Backend Developer Internship (Full-Time) Important Note: This is a full-time internship. Please apply only if you can join immediately. We do not offer part-time opportunities. Start Date: Immediate Eligible Batch: 2024, 2025 Preference: Candidates with at least 6 months of prior internship experience in Django or Flask will be given preference. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Work extensively with Python and web frameworks such as Django Rest Framework (DRF) and Flask. 2. Collaborate within a lean team, giving you hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. 3. Gain exposure to cloud services (AWS experience is a plus). 4. Enjoy flexibility to accommodate your academic requirements (exams, quizzes, assignments). 5. Develop REST APIs and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. 6. Work with Celery to handle distributed tasks and asynchronous job processing 7. This role is ideal for someone looking for a steep learning curve in an agile environment. Qualifications: 1. Pursuing an Engineering degree in Computer Science (mandatory). 2. Minimum 6 months of internship experience working with Django or Flask. 3. Strong understanding of Python and at least one web framework (Django or Flask). 4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 5. Experience with Celery for distributed task management. 6. Strong understanding of REST API design and database management. 7. Knowledge of cloud services and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Demonstrated ability to take ownership, deliver results, and work independently.
