We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Testing Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in test automation, collaborate with industry professionals, and contribute to exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: • Test Automation: Assist in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for various software applications using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or other relevant testing frameworks • Test Framework Development: Contribute to building and enhancing test automation frameworks to streamline and optimize the testing process • Bug Identification and Reporting: Support in identifying software defects and logging them in bug tracking systems such as JIRA. Work with development teams to prioritize and address issues efficiently • Test Execution: Run automated test cases, analyze test results, and document any discrepancies found during the test cycles • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand software requirements and ensure the product meets quality standards • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and any improvements in test coverage • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest test automation tools and best practices. Share ideas to enhance automation processes and test coverage Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field • Basic understanding of software development and testing processes • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript • Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment • Passion for learning and developing automation testing skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with version control systems like Git • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle • Experience with database testing and SQL queries • Knowledge of cloud platforms or containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is a plus
