About the internship We are seeking a passionate and talented Android Developer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: a. App Development: 1. Assist in designing and developing Android applications using Java/Kotlin. 2. Collaborate with senior developers to integrate new features and optimize existing applications. b. Bug Fixing & Testing: 1. Identify and fix bugs in Android applications. 2. Perform unit testing and help in debugging to ensure application functionality and performance. c. UI/UX Implementation: 1. Implement user interfaces based on design guidelines and ensure a smooth user experience. d. API Integration: 1. Assist in integrating backend APIs and services into the mobile application. e. Documentation: 1. Maintain proper documentation of code and development processes. f. Collaboration: 1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality features. g. Learning & Development: 1. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Android development. 2. Learn and implement new libraries and frameworks to improve app performance. Requirements: 1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2. Familiarity with Android SDK, Java, and/or Kotlin. 3. Basic understanding of mobile development principles, architecture, and design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM). 4. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries. 5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 7. Excellent communication skills.
