About the internship Did you know only 5.9% of tech startups in India are founded by women-only founders? As India presses the paddle on its growth story, Women Entrepreneurship should take the driving seat!! All India Women ONLY Start-a-thon is a Woman exclusive startup competition to support and maximize outcome for all aspiring women entrepreneurs in India We are looking for volunteers to help us create a broader impact. The volunteer will be allotted a specific geography for outreach (District/City). The outreach volunteer will reach out to colleges and universities in their allotted geography and drive participation for AIWOS in their allotted geography Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Researching contact numbers of College incubation cell, DEAN/Directors/Principal, 2. Training and placement Officers (TPOs), Student office, etc 3. Reaching out to them on call (SOP will be shared) 4. Following up the call in the above step with an email to the college officials to drive registrations from your geography 5. Working on social media promotion Why volunteer? (All genders can apply) 1. Contribute to the cause of Women's entrepreneurship in India 2. Certificates 3. Letter of Recommendation for exceptional performers 4. Good performance will promote you to be the state/zone lead Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. are available for the work from home job/internship 2. can start the work from home job/internship between 10th Oct'24 and 14th Nov'24 3. are available for duration of 1 month 4. have relevant skills and interests Shooting Stars Foundation is a not-for-profit whose mission is to "break the cycle of generational poverty through education" At Shooting Stars, we firmly believe that education is the only way to break the cycle of generational poverty. By providing STEM college scholarships to financially eligible students in India and Africa, as well as STEM education programs to underserved communities in the U.S., we help support and motivate young people as they work to achieve their dreams.
