Job description AGRICULTURE INTERN About Seclude Seclude is a pioneer in India’s branded villa and boutique resort market, with 19 stunning properties across 10 locations. We seamlessly blend affordable luxury with immersive experiences, offering unique stays, exceptional dining, and curated activities in secluded, picturesque locations. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Agriculture Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves nature, sustainable farming, and landscaping. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the greenery across our properties while exploring innovative agricultural practices. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate the work of gardeners across multiple properties. • Cultivate and maintain vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and Ayurvedic plants. • Design and execute landscaping projects, including planting new grass, creepers, and ornamental plants. • Maintain and rotate indoor plants for aesthetic and environmental benefits. • Develop and implement strategies for seed generation and sustainable gardening. • Assist in the creation of plant-based products for potential commercial use. • Set up and maintain herb and condiment gardens for culinary and wellness applications. • Conceptualize and execute pond designs to enhance garden landscapes. • Prepare informative garden descriptions and signage for guests. • Ensure proper maintenance of existing plants through watering, pruning, and organic care methods. Qualifications & Skills • Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Prior experience in gardening, farming, or landscaping is a plus but not mandatory. • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices, plant care, and organic cultivation methods. • Passion for environmental conservation and a hands-on approach to agriculture. • Strong observational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. • Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment with plant-based innovations.
