About the job We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will manage vendor payments, credit control, inventory losses, and financial reporting, while also coordinating audits and providing strategic insights for decision-making. Key Responsibilities - A. Financial Operations - Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate tracking of customer invoices. - Prepare and reconcile daily cash flow statements, highlighting potential shortages. B. Credit Control - Evaluate customer creditworthiness and monitor credit utilization. - Create follow-up schedules for overdue collections and escalate high-risk cases to founders. C. Inventory & Loss Accounting - Reconcile inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies. - Account for inventory losses and update values based on the latest purchase costs. D. Financial Reporting - Prepare weekly MIS reports, P&L summaries, and cash flow forecasts. - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and payroll reporting. E. Audit Coordination - Support internal and external audits, resolving queries and implementing post-audit - process updates. F. Strategic Insights & Founders' Support - Recommend cost-saving measures and margin improvement strategies. - Provide financial data for business expansion and create custom reports for founders. Work Schedule: 1. Daily Tasks: Cash flow monitoring, accounts reconciliation, vendor payment processing, and collections follow-ups. 2. Weekly Tasks: Twice-weekly MIS reporting, financial metrics analysis, and coordination meetings. Skill(s) required Accounting Effective Communication Financial literacy Financial Modeling Problem Solving Tally Earn certifications in these skills Learn Tally Learn Financial Modeling Learn Stocks and Trading Who can apply 1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience. Other requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting (CA preferred). - 1-5 years in financial control or accounting roles. - Proficiency in tools like Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and others. - Expertise in Excel, MIS reporting, and financial analytics.
