Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
2. Update and maintain the general ledger.
3. Reconcile entries into the accounting system.
4. Record debits and credits.
5. Maintain the trial balance through the reconciliation of general ledgers.
6. Perform account reconciliation to ensure transaction accuracy.
7. Comply with reporting requirements using knowledge of local laws.
8. Monitor variances from projected expenses and income.
9. Coordinate with respective teams and directors for vendor bills and payments.
10. Maintain bill copies and share them with the CA regularly.
11. Handle bank reconciliation, cash book, and cash transactions.
12. Manage bank accounts and cash.
13. Coordinate with employees for vouchers and their clearance.
14. Prepare and release cheques.
15. Prepare weekly vendor outstanding reports and send bill reminders to vendors.
