About the internship As a 3D Artist Intern, you will assist our team in creating high-quality 3D assets, environments, and animations for various projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in 3D design and animation and gain valuable experience in a professional creative environment. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in the creation of 3D models, textures, and assets for ongoing projects. 2. Help with scene setup, lighting, and rendering tasks. 3. Collaborate with other team members, including senior artists, designers, and animators, to ensure quality and consistency in visual assets. 4. Participate in brainstorming and creative sessions to contribute ideas and feedback. 5. Support the team with asset optimization and maintenance of 3D files. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve basic 3D art issues, ensuring efficient workflow. 7. Learn and apply industry-standard 3D software and tools, including [e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, etc.]. Qualifications: 1. Strong interest in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation. 2. Proficiency in at least one 3D software, such as [insert specific software like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.]. 3. Basic understanding of 3D principles, such as topology, UV mapping, and lighting. 4. Familiarity with texturing tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar is a plus. 5. Good communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and take feedback. 6. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 7. A portfolio showcasing your 3D work (personal projects, academic projects, or previous internships) is preferred.
