Duties & Responsibilities POSITION Forecourts -Trainee Site Partner LOCATION Johannesburg SUMMARY An established giant in the management consulting firm that specializes in transforming organizations through a focus on people, experience, and growth is looking for a Trainee Site Partner (Manager) to ensure the effective marketing of fuel and convenience offerings. The Site Partner will dedicate their full time and attention to the successful and profitable day to day operational and administrative running of the business, to ensure optimum return on investment. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily, Weekly, Monthly stock controls and stock takes. Control of all cash, stock, equipment, HR, and other resources on site. Daily, weekly, and monthly capturing and reconciliation on Swift. Margin control and margin management. Daily reconciliation of bank statement regards to fuel purchase payments, unpaid items, or reversals and, speed point and cash deposits on Swift. Energy consumption and cost management. To maximize financial and volume revenue for fuels and convenience. To ensure financial sustainability of the business through daily/monthly financial controls. To provide service excellence and customer care in alignment with supplier strategic objectives. To manage and promote additional alternate profit offerings (APO). To satisfy the specific requirements of strategic partners (other franchisors) in alignment to franchise agreements and business models. To ensure effective administration and management of all staff, including the recruitment, performance management, training, and development of staff through internal or external training programs. To participate in internal, external training programs and other forums and programs related to managing the business. Invest in self- development to remain on the cutting edge of the industry. To coordinate store operations, liaising with suppliers and merchandising management. Ensure that categories, product range and planograms, sales promotions, stock rotation, pricing, are effectively implemented and optimized. To participate in national campaigns and promotions, meetings, and events to enhance brand positioning. To ensure compliance to retail standards in alignment with retail efficiency rating forms and, HSEQ standards. To adhere to applicable regulatory frameworks. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · Minimum 2- 5 years proven experience running a successful business, and / or corporate business management experience. · Minimum NQF Level 5 business qualification. · Business or Management degree preferable. · Experience managing staff and a diverse workforce essential. · Experience in a retail background (essential). · Able to travel for a minimum of six months for training purposes. · Open to relocation anywhere in South Africa when a role/site becomes available. · Proven success of vendor and stakeholder management. · Successful execution of an organisation's strategy into operational delivery. · Sound understanding of managing a holistic portfolio of people | processes | operations | finance. JOB KNOWLEDGE · Sound knowledge of financial and operational management processes and principles (e.g., profit and loss, cash flow and margin management.) · Sound knowledge of business marketing management; business management and industry-related legislation. · Good understanding of fair and compliant people practices.
