Traffic Engineer

About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Traffic signal design: Develop and design traffic signal plans, including timing plans, phasing, and coordination 2. Simulation and analysis: Utilize traffic simulation software (VISSIM, Synchro) to model and analyze traffic conditions, and assess the impact of proposed signal changes 3. Data collection and analysis: Collect and analyze traffic data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement 4. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, recommendations, and project progress 5.
