Thumbnail Designer

What we're looking for:-

LeverageX Media specialises in crafting original content IPs that resonate deeply with global audiences. As we expand our offerings in podcasts, talk shows, and YouTube series, we are seeking a talented Thumbnail Designer to join our creative team. This individual will play a crucial role in developing eye-catching thumbnails that enhance viewer engagement and drive click-through rates across our digital platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and optimising thumbnails for our various social channels. Your ability to understand visual trends, create compelling designs, and collaborate with our creative team will be key to your success. We need someone who is passionate about design, stays updated with the latest trends, and is always striving to improve.

You will:-

-Design visually compelling thumbnails for YouTube videos, podcasts, talk shows, and other digital content.

-Own the click-through rate (CTR) metric for thumbnails, continuously optimising designs to increase viewer engagement.

-Collaborate with creative strategists and video editors from pre-production to post-production to develop and execute thumbnail concepts.

-Research and stay updated with current design trends and competitors’ strategies to keep our content fresh and relevant.

-Create multiple variants and conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective thumbnail designs.

-Conceptualise new and original ideas that align with the brand's visual identity.

-Use Photoshop and other design tools to generate realistic and engaging thumbnails.

-Actively participate in creative reviews, applying feedback to refine and perfect thumbnail designs.

About you:-

-You thrive in dynamic environments, taking ownership of your creative work with independence and accountability.

-You have a keen eye for design and a passion for creating visually engaging content.

-You embrace the startup mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable, and resourceful.

Your skills & experience:-

-1-3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with a focus on designing thumbnails for YouTube or other digital platforms.

-Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

-A portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of visual aesthetics, creativity, and technical skill in graphic design.

-Insight into what makes users select your content among a stream of hundred other options.

-Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to manage multiple design projects concurrently and deliver high-quality final products within deadlines.

Bonus points:-

-Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

-Active engagement in professional design communities.

-Basic knowledge of video editing tools like Premiere Pro or After Effects.

-Experience designing infographics and social media graphics.
