Technology Lead – Network Security

Passionate about Linux? Check Point OS Group is looking for an experienced Linux technology expert!

Join us! you will plan and design complex architectures and build Check Point Secure Operating and its different user-space services, interfaces and backend.

Major Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implementation of OS features and infrastructure throughout the development lifecycle

• Develop networking management and monitoring capabilities from the UI level

• Remote API framework development and new functionality

• Enhance the OS backend capabilities

• Work closely with other groups and stakeholders in Check Point

• Measure, analyse, and improve existing code to enhance performance and functionality

Desired Background

• BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field and a proven work experience as a Lead Software Developer

• Deep understanding of Linux anatomy, user-space processes, daemons, boot process, etc.

• Familiar with Web Servers and monitoring systems

• Experience with Network drivers and Linux processes.

• 16+ years of experience in the development of large systems

• Experience with JavaScript and Python – Advantage

• Linux kernel development - an advantage
