Job description Company Description Deepwoods Initiatives on Environment Trust is dedicated to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals 1 and 13, focusing on eradicating poverty and addressing climate change. Our efforts include safeguarding underprivileged communities from climate change impacts and promoting climate action through awareness campaigns. We offer GreenSkilling programs to improve younger generations' employability in sustainability. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sustainability Intern at Deepwoods Initiatives on Environment Trust located in Bengaluru. The Sustainability Intern will be responsible for supporting initiatives related to poverty eradication, climate action, and green-skilling programs. Day-to-day tasks may include research on sustainability practices, assisting in awareness campaigns, and contributing to capacity-building activities. Qualifications • Research and Analytical skills • Passion for sustainability and environmental issues • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • Knowledge of UN Sustainable Development Goals • Previous experience in sustainability projects is a plus • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant field such as Environmental Studies, Sustainable Development, or related disciplines
