Job description Subeditor Intern (Paid) Location: Chennai- On-Site Type: Paid Internship Duration: 3-6 months as intern and opportunity to get placed as Junior Sub-editor upon successful completion Stipend: 12500-18000 based on working hours. Role Overview: We are looking for talented Subeditor Interns to join our editorial team. As a paid intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience editing content for a dynamic media platform. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to work within deadlines to ensure the quality of our published work. Responsibilities: • Edit and proofread articles/news cards for grammar, tone, and accuracy. • Collaborate with writers to refine submissions and improve overall readability. • Verify facts and sources to maintain credibility and trustworthiness. • Write engaging headlines and summaries to enhance reader engagement. • Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and editorial standards. • Assist in content management, scheduling, and prioritization for publication.
