About the job Key responsibilities: 1. Accessing bank websites to download data 2. Formatting data into a standard template for consistency 3. Reconciling data from multiple sources using automated tools or MS Excel/MS Access 4. Identifying and analyzing differences arising from reconciliation and escalating them for resolution 5. Documenting each break during the data reconciliation process 6. Investigating deviations in data to ensure accuracy 7. Computing NAV, P&L, and Total Return for portfolios, sectors, and positions 8. Investigating NAV differences between Custodian and Investment Manager books 9. Monitoring production of risk reports and identifying issues in Portfolio Analytics 10. Debugging issues during production and performing quality checks on holdings, prices, and risk analytics 11. Conducting fund-level and portfolio-level checks to ensure risk is within acceptable limits 12. Identifying post-trade compliance breaches or violations and capturing them in the dashboard 13. Conducting research and providing appropriate feedback for resolution or escalation 14. Setting up new securities issued in the market and making periodic updates to existing securities 15. Updating corporate actions, time series data, and other relevant security information 16. Handling setup for over 70 different security types, including equities, bonds, mortgages, derivatives, and cash instruments 17. Being flexible to work in shifts (Male candidates: any shift, including night shifts; Female candidates: shifts between 5 AM to 11 PM) 18. Developing medium to fast typing speed with high accuracy 5. Understanding international capital markets (US/UK) (preferred) 6. Demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills 7. Managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently 8. Paying attention to detail and working systematically 9. Handling high volumes of numerical data comfortably 10.
