Staff Nurse, Critical Care

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence based nursing procedures and practices to patients of all ages on assigned nursing unit. This position is also responsible for demonstrating competency in the behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs of patients being treated. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL PREFERRED Education Bachelor s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required Experience Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in an acute care setting is required Note: experience requirement is waived for graduates of UAE Nursing colleges or universities after completion of an approved internship Certification and Licensure Valid and current national license is required BLS is required from AHA or an equivalent organization, or must be obtained within 3 months of employment ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty is required, from AHA or an equivalent organization; or must obtain within 6 months of employment Company Industry
