Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Splunk Administrator & Developer to manage, optimize, and enhance our Splunk environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering Splunk infrastructure, developing custom dashboards, alerts, and reports, and integrating various data sources and creating efficient field extractions using regex. This role requires expertise in Splunk administration, development, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Splunk Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud.

• Manage Splunk indexers, search heads, forwarders, and deployment servers.

• Monitor and optimize Splunk performance, including indexing, search queries, and storage management.

• Troubleshoot Splunk performance issues, log ingestion problems, and data parsing.

• Automate Splunk maintenance tasks and onboarding processes.

Splunk Development:

• Develop and optimize Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and scheduled searches using SPL.

• Create and maintain custom queries, data models, macros, and knowledge objects.

• Implement summary indexing to improve search performance.

• Develop custom Splunk scripts using Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation.

• Integrate external data sources (APIs, databases, and application logs) with Splunk.

• Develop efficient regex-based field extractions for structured and unstructured logs.

• Design and develop interactive Splunk Live Dashboards using Splunk XML,HTML,CSS and Javascript.

• Create dynamic dashboards with conditional formatting, token-based filtering and real-time updates.
