Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Requirements

Job Profile:

• Primary job is to analyse business requirements to create tests, execute tests, automate tests and manage test deliverables for all test phases as per business standards and quality.

• Well versed in Test Automation in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and efficiency of our software products.

• The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and a keen understanding of software testing methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Katalon, UFT or similar.

• Comfortable with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

• Experience with cloud-based environments and testing in virtualized or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience in Version Control tools as SVN or Git.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, QA) to understand requirements and test scenarios.

• Maintain and update automation frameworks to accommodate new features, framework changes and optimization.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to automated tests, test plans, strategies and other quality metrics.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and tools in test automation.

• Ability to work in multicultural teams and quickly Ramp Up on the Technology & specific Tools.

• Must be a team player and should mentor and guide junior technical resources

Good to Have:

• ISTQB or any other Testing certification

• Mobile testing / test automation experience

• Power domain knowledge.

• B.E/B.Tech or Equivalent Qualification
