Job Description
Responsibilities
Global Strategy & Business Alignment - Develop and own a comprehensive global social media strategy across all relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, regional platforms). Align the social media strategy directly with business goals: maximizing student lead generation, promoting exclusive events (virtual/in-person), and building SEED’s authority as a trusted education partner.
Team Management & Mentorship - Manage, mentor, and lead a team of social media manager and content creator, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous learning.
Budget & Performance Marketing - Oversee all paid social and performance marketing budgets, focusing on maximizing ROI (CPL and Conversion Rate) and efficient spending by rigorously integrating SEO-informed strategies and executing localized campaigns through advanced geographic (GEO) targeting.
Agency & Vendor Management - Liaise with and manage external agencies (e.g., creative, media, performance) and third-party vendors to ensure efficient content creation and campaign execution, holding them accountable to set KPIs.
Content Strategy & Branding - Define the content calendar and ensure consistency in brand voice, quality, and visual identity across all channels.
Content Execution - Oversee the creation of compelling, platform-specific content that addresses the key stages of the student journey (awareness, consideration, decision), including short-form video (Reels, Shorts) and long-form educational content.
Content Pillars - Develop content pillars focused on high-value topics such as Scholarship Opportunities, University Spotlights (featuring partner schools like Cornell, Dartmouth and more), and Study Destination Guides (USA, Canada, UK, etc.).
Community Management - Establish community management guidelines and protocols to ensure timely, engaging, and professional interaction with prospective students and university partners.
Campus Marketing & Ambassadors - Manage, scale, and optimize the campus ambassador program across key target markets. Develop toolkits and incentives to drive organic promotion and local engagement. Oversee college sponsorships and partnerships to increase brand visibility on-ground.
Event Marketing & Support - Provide comprehensive digital marketing support for all key virtual and in-person events happening all year round. Help in managing the annual business school festival (study abroad fair), including digital promotion and on-site activation.
Liaison & Print Collateral - Take responsibility for the design, quality, and management of all print collateral (e.g., brochures, event signage, flyers) and liaising with printing vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
Analytics & Optimization - Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all social and digital activities, tracking and reporting on lead volume, quality, engagement rates, and conversion metrics. Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment. Work closely with the Advising/Counselling team to optimize the journey of leads generated via social media channels.
Requirements
Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. Experience in the international education, EdTech, or consultancy sector is preferred but not mandatory.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and scaling social media channels to drive direct lead generation and quantifiable business outcomes.
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of current best practices and performance mechanics across key global platforms (especially Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn).
Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, proficiency with social media analytics tools, expertise in performance marketing principles, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong project management capabilities.
