To support our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and experienced Delivery Leader to build and lead a new IT Applications Delivery team in our India offices. This role will primarily focus on advanced Force.com platform development, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions through collaboration with global teams and US-based stakeholders.

This position is based out of one of the offices of our affiliate Acqueon Technologies in Chennai, India, and will adopt the hybrid work arrangements of that location. You will be a member of the Acqueon team with responsibilities supporting Five9 products, collaborating with global teammates based primarily in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale a high-performing Salesforce development team by identifying skill gaps, hiring top talent, and cultivating a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

• Lead and manage team of full-time and contract developers, as well as oversee India-based managed services providers to deliver advanced Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ). Provide mentorship and development opportunities to ensure high performance and growth within the team

• Provide leadership for advanced Force.com platform development, including Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce-centric solutions, while establishing best practices, development guardrails, and reusable design patterns

• Collaborate with US-based delivery leaders to intake, prioritize, and manage Force.com related work requests for the development team and managed services providers. Oversee delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes and facilitate the smooth handoff of completed work products

• Manage development backlogs, sprints, and prioritization lists to ensure work is aligned with business objectives and delivered on schedule

• Foster technical excellence and optimize development processes by implementing and maintaining best-in-class DevSecOps practices, including continuous integration/delivery pipelines, to enhance delivery efficiency and quality

• Oversee offshore vendor operations and support practices, ensuring adherence to established standards and the consistent delivery of high-quality services

• Participate actively in solution design and architecture discussions

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong command of Apex, LWC, SOQL, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, etc.)

• 3+ years of experience managing or leading Salesforce delivery teams

• Active Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required. Architect certifications strongly preferred

• Experience with iPaaS platforms, such as Workato, to build enterprise-wide integrations a big plus

• Proven ability to coach developers and conduct high-quality code reviews

• Experience working with and delivering projects using Agile methodology, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development processes

• Strong execution ability with a track record of taking concepts from idea to launch

• Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment

• Demonstrated leadership qualities and partnering skills

• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills

• Confidence, humility, creativity, and a positive attitude are a must

• Must reside in Chennai, India
