As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will lead the delivery of high-impact technical support, system optimization, and installation services for advanced labeling and identification technologies. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting both local clients and broader regional service goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of field engineers, providing technical direction and on-site support.
Manage complex equipment installations, integrations, upgrades, and repairs.
Serve as the escalation point for critical technical issues and customer troubleshooting needs.
Use remote diagnostic tools (e.g., AR/VR platforms) to proactively resolve service issues and reduce downtime.
Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high service standards and satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, product) to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in field operations.
Maintain service documentation and provide technical reporting to support continuous improvement.
Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical training).
5+ years of field service experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or team lead role.
Technical expertise in RFID, IoT, printing, and labeling systems.
Proficiency with remote diagnostics tools, virtual assistance platforms, and modern field service technology.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and software domains.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive and customer-centric mindset, with the ability to convey complex technical details clearly.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, particularly within the apparel supply chain, is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with project management or leading multi-site service initiatives.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance, safety procedures, and industrial service standards.
Data-driven decision-making using ticketing systems and field performance metrics.
