Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Event Planning & Execution
Own the annual global event calendar, aligning with go-to-market priorities, vertical strategies, and key growth objectives.
Design a portfolio of events (owned, sponsored, hospitality, etc) that positions Sutherland as a trusted strategic partner to the enterprise C-suite.
Own the event budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and clear ROI.
Lead event ideation, format innovation, and experience design to engage priority personas and stages of the buyer journey.
Campaign Development & Execution
Collaborate with campaign managers and industry marketing leads to create marketing campaigns around each event (pre-, during-, and post- event), turning them into key moments in the annual marketing agenda and amplifying reach and impact.
Ensure brand consistency and experience quality across all global touchpoints.
Pipeline & Revenue Alignment
Establish pipeline-centric KPIs for every event, including influenced and sourced pipeline, opportunity velocity, conversion rates, and deal acceleration.
Work closely with BD, MOPS and Sales to ensure seamless lead capture, routing, and follow-up workflows post-event.
Team & Vendor Leadership
Manage and scale a small team of flexible resources, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results.
Oversee relationships with key external partners, including agencies, AV/production teams, venues, and sponsorship partners.
Operational Excellence
Own and manage event marketing budget with a focus on cost efficiency and return on investment.
Implement best-in-class tech stack integrations to support lead management post-event nurture.
Optimize event operations and logistics — from venue sourcing to speaker coordination and onsite branding — ensuring a premium, scalable experience across all touchpoints.
