What We’re Looking For - Role Brief

We are looking for a dynamic and process-driven Team Lead to lead a team of 20 Business Development Executives (BDEs). The ideal candidate will ensure smooth execution of the entire sales cycle - from first customer outreach to successful handoff to the Business Development Managers (BDMs). This role is critical in enabling the sales engine, driving pipeline growth, and ensuring that every client interaction is consistent, professional, and impactful.

What You’ll Do

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ~20 BDEs to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Streamline and monitor the pre-sales process, including:

Initial customer calls to explain digital marketing services and business performance insights.

Scheduling meetings for BDMs.

Pre-call and post-call follow-ups to ensure customer engagement.

Assisting in deal closures through consistent nurturing.

Ensure strict CRM hygiene: maintain accurate, updated records of all leads, interactions, and status updates.

Collaborate closely with BDMs to ensure smooth handovers and alignment on client expectations.

Track team performance, generate reports, and identify improvement areas to optimize productivity.

Drive process adherence and create playbooks/checklists to ensure consistency across the pre-sales function.

Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to BDEs to build strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Analyze funnel health (calls, connects, meetings, conversions) and recommend tactical changes.

Stay updated on digital marketing trends and industry shifts to help the team position solutions effectively.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 3+ years of experience in inside sales or pre-sales.

Proven experience managing a tele-calling/inside sales team of at least 15 members.

Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and the ability to communicate their value to SMEs/business owners.

Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Highly organized with a process-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Excellent communication, research, and stakeholder coordination abilities

Highly street-smart, resourceful, and comfortable operating in ambiguity

A high sense of ownership, strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile

MUST be available to work full-time from our office in Vashi, Navi Mumbai
