Sales Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong sales capabilities to drive business growth, develop new client relationships, and promote our range of hydraulic tools and industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities in assigned territories and industry segments.

Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions based on our product portfolio.

Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and technical presentations to prospective clients.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams for order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.

Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events representing the company.

Provide timely market insights, competitor analysis, and territory-wise reports. Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2–10 years of experience in industrial sales (preferably hydraulic tools/equipment).

Strong technical understanding and ability to explain product features to customers.

Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a B2B environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (Zoho preferred).

Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and site evaluations.
