Retail Jewelry Salespersons

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their jewellery needs and preferences
• Explain product details such as design, metal purity (gold, silver, platinum), gemstones, pricing, and certifications
• Assist customers in selecting jewellery for occasions like weddings, engagements, or gifting
• Ensure jewellery safety, proper handling, and inventory checks
• Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business
• Promote ongoing offers or schemes

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Minimum high school
• Previous experience in retail or jewellery sales preferred (freshers may apply)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of jewellery, gemstones, and hallmarks (training often provided)
• Honest, presentable, and trustworthy personality
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
