Position - Intern Research & Development Location - Turbhe, Navi Mumbai Who Are We Based out of IIT Bombay, HaystackAnalytics is a HealthTech company creating clinical genomics products, which enable diagnostic labs and hospitals to offer accurate and personalized diagnostics. Supported by India's most respected science agencies (DST, BIRAC, DBT), we created and launched a portfolio of products to offer genomics in infectious diseases. Our genomics based diagnostic solution for Tuberculosis was recognized as one of top innovations supported by BIRAC in the past 10 years, and was launched by the Prime Minister of India in the BIRAC Showcase event in Delhi, 2022. What We Want You To Do Perform DNA extraction from various biological samples following standard protocols. Conduct Real-Time PCR (RT-PCR) assays, including preparation of samples, data analysis, and troubleshooting. Execute Gel Electrophoresis for nucleic acid and protein analysis. Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results. Assist in optimizing laboratory protocols and workflows. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and reproducibility in experiments. Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of lab reagents and samples. Collaborate with team members on data analysis and interpretation. What Are We Looking In You Recently completed a degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry Microbiology Molecular Biology, or a related field. Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques and genomics. Familiarity with NGS platforms (e.g., Illumina, Oxford Nanopore) and workflows is a plus. Proficiency in documentation and report preparation.
