QA Mechanical Engineer

The candidate should have the following knowledge and expected to

deliver the following job:

• Sound knowledge of Field Quality Assurance Plan, Inspection & Test Plan.

Identify the deviations/gaps in implementation during site audit.

• Sound knowledge of WPS, PQR and performing Welder Qualification and ability to

Review & Inspection of same.

• Review and inspection of following major activities (not limited to this) with having sound

knowledge of same:

o NDT procedure(RT,UT&DPT)

o Pressure test (Pneumatic, Hydro

&Leak), Heat Treatment (Pre, post

& Stress relieving)

o Surface cleaning & Painting.

• Understanding/ Interpretation of drawing with specification for Fabrication, erection &

mechanical construction work.

• Knowledge of construction visualization, erection methodology, and tolerance limit

• Inspection of Erected Industrial Structure, Technological Structure & Process Piping.

• Inspection of various erected mechanical equipment, checking completeness &

correctness w.r.t. drawing & specification.

• Inspection of trail run (No load, load & Integrated) of various mechanical equipment

• Knowledge of construction safety for structural and equipment installation work as per

standards,

Managerial and Technical Competencies

• Wide-spread knowledge on industrial structure and installed mechanical equipment Inspection.

• Quality Assurance & Inspection of site Structural, Mechanical & Process Piping

• Daily Quality report preparation, maintaining monthly MTS & presentation.

• Prepare Root Cause Analysis & suggest way forward.
