Project Associate Intern

Job description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Associate. This is an entry-level role perfect for someone passionate about environmental and civic issues and eager to learn while making a difference. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in researching laws, government circulars, and reports to support legal and civic projects. • Collect and organize information, including data from RTI applications, for various uses. • Coordinate with lawyers, activists, government officials, and others to facilitate communication. • Help draft basic legal documents, prepare affidavits, and summarize technical information. • Translate materials from Marathi to English and vice versa as needed. • Support the planning and execution of press conferences and public events. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Not Mandatory) (Law, Social Work, Engineering or related areas preferred but not mandatory). • Basic research and organizational skills; willingness to learn is essential. • Proficiency in Marathi and English (spoken and written) for translation tasks. • Good communication • Interest in environmental and civic issues is a needed • Candidates based in Pune are preferred. • Vehicle Commitment: Minimum 12 months, From Office.
