Job description Product Design & Development Intern Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Product Design and Development Intern to join our team. This role focuses on creating and enhancing STEM-based products, integrating creative design with technical development. The ideal candidate will contribute to prototyping, product improvements, and marketing support, combining technical expertise with a passion for innovation. Key Responsibilities • Design & Prototyping:Create and refine product designs using CAD tools. • Operate and maintain laser cutting machines and 3D printers for prototyping. • Conduct basic electronic integrations and testing for STEM-related products. • Product Development:Assist in modifying and improving existing products to enhance performance and functionality. • Troubleshoot prototypes to ensure they meet design and quality standards. • Graphics & Marketing Support:Develop product manuals, presentations, and graphics using design tools. • Create engaging visual assets for email campaigns and promotional materials. • Collaboration & Documentation:Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align product design with promotional strategies. • Document design iterations and prototyping processes for knowledge sharing. Required Skills • Technical Expertise:Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD. • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. • Fabrication Knowledge:Hands-on experience with 3D printing and laser cutting processes. • Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, and circuits. • Creative Problem-Solving:Ability to generate innovative ideas for STEM products. • Adaptability to changing project needs and requirements. Compensation Details • Stipend: (Food and accommodation) after 3 months. • Performance-Based Incentives: Provided after 4 -6 months based on contributions. • Full-Time Opportunity: High-performing interns may be offered a full-time position with a salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month after the internship.
