The People Operations Intern at FedEx Express Philippines will support the Human Resources (HR) team in executing key people-related initiatives, ensuring smooth HR operations, and enhancing employee experience. This role provides hands-on exposure to HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

HR Administrative & Compliance Support:

Assist in maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems.

Help prepare and process HR-related documents, including contracts, memos, and reports.

Ensure proper documentation and filing for compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

Post job openings on internal and external job portals.

Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates.

Assist in pre-employment requirements and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

Support the planning and execution of FedEx’s engagement programs such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee well-being initiatives.

Assist in gathering employee feedback and supporting culture-building projects.

HR Operations & Process Improvement:

Track employee attendance, leaves, and performance evaluation schedules.

Conduct research on HR best practices and recommend process improvements.

Support internal HR audits and ensure compliance with company policies.

Learning & Development Support:

Help coordinate training programs, track attendance, and distribute learning materials.

Assist in identifying learning opportunities that align with FedEx’s commitment to employee growth

Other HR-Related Tasks:

Participate in special HR projects as needed.

Collaborate with different HR teams across FedEx Express Philippines to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR functions.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR systems is a plus.

A proactive, collaborative, and service-oriented attitude, aligned with FedEx’s People-Service-Profit (PSP) culture.
