Job description About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to support outreach of STHIRA 2025, an initiative that explores food sustainability through innovation. This role is ideal for freshers passionate about food, sustainability and education. If you enjoy engaging with students and college communities, we’d love to hear from you! About foodwize foodwize is a platform dedicated to deepening the relationship between food, culture and nature. We work with students, researchers, farmers, producers and consumers to build a more resilient and sustainable food ecosystem. About STHIRA 2025 STHIRA is India’s first Sustainable Food Innovation Challenge for university students. The 2024 edition saw participation from 150+ students across 27 universities and 13 disciplines, tackling challenges in food security and sustainability. For 2025, we are introducing six new themes that explore food’s intersection with society and the environment. This initiative is in collaboration between foodwize and University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Italy. Key Responsibilities • Conduct outreach to universities and colleges to promote STHIRA 2025 • Follow up with institutions via phone calls and emails • Clearly communicate STHIRA’s themes and encourage student participation • Engage with STHIRA student ambassadors and academic networks What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants who resonate with foodwize’s vision of food systems accountability and enjoy working with academic communities. While guidance will be provided, this role requires initiative, responsibility and independent thinking. Skills Required • Clear and confident communication • Fluency in English (additional regional languages are a plus) • Enthusiasm and openness to learning • Basic proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, word and powerpoint.
