ABOUT THE JOB:
JOB PURPOSE
The Medical Graduate will support the Medical Department through medical information query management, patient program support, tracking of local and Multi-Country Organization (MCO) medical operating expenses (OPEX), the execution and tracking of the training curriculum for the department, support and uphold a high standard of integrity across all medical activities by ensuring SOP compliance, and ensuring audit readiness.
SCOPE
The Medical Graduate will support the Medical Department by managing medical information queries, tracking local and MCO medical OPEX, and coordinating training curriculum execution. The role ensures compliance with SOPs, maintains audit readiness, and upholds high standards of integrity across all medical activities. Additionally, the Medical Graduate will support SEE engagements, sponsorship processing, and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficiency and compliance of medical operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Compliance and Audit Readiness
Ensure compliance and audit readiness within the Medical Department by collaborating with Quality and EBI teams, tracking SOP expiry, and monitoring adherence to policies.
Training and Curriculum Management
Coordinate and maintain the Medical team’s training curriculum, ensuring timely completion, record-keeping, and audit readiness.
Engagements and Compliance with SEEs
Monitor SEE engagements to ensure compliance with thresholds, FMV guidelines, and ethical standards, conducting live event monitoring as needed.
Medical Event Administration and Event Initiation
Serve as a event initiator, supporting system updates, training users, and logging medical team interactions and insights.
Medical Information Management
Manage Medical Information inquiries, ensure compliance with SOPs and POPI Act, conduct literature searches, and provide performance reports.
Sponsorships and Contributions to Healthcare Organizations
Review, process, and archive sponsorship and contribution requests, ensuring compliance, reconciliation, and accurate documentation.
Local and MCO Medical OPEX Tracking
Monitor and track medical OPEX, aligning with budget forecasts, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with SEE payments.
Administrative Support
Provide high-level administrative and project coordination support, optimize medical systems, and manage contracts, vendors, and expenses related to medical initiatives.
ABOUT YOU:
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Minimum master’s degree in a scientific discipline, Pharmacist degree, or higher qualification.
Skills:
Scientific writing experience
Strong proficiency in English (reading, writing, and comprehension).
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick to adopt digital platforms.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
