Marketing Internship (Selby)

Duties & Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to: Based at the Head Office and rerport to the Marjeting Manager. Travel between the stores for In-Store Marketing, Events and Promotions Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, proposals and documents. Organise and coordinate internal and external meetings. Arrange and confirm appointments with business associates. Coordinate events including seminars, trade shows, exhibits etc. Arrange travel and accommodation bookings as required. Understand and execute briefs. Conduct market research. Gather and collate relevant material – text and images. Create and assemble marketing materials as required. Liaising with suppliers regarding design, layout, proofing and corrections on proofs. Corporate branding – including electronic and print media. Organise and administer marketing campaigns. Perform and complete proposal related responsibilities and projects as necessary. Placing and following-up on quotes from approved suppliers. Coordinate the flow of information, both internally and externally. Interact and correspond with members, editorial, media, finance, marketing and other advertising groups. General office administration and clerical duties, including: distribution of mail and marketing materials to relevant staff; arrangements of courier services; implement and maintain office systems, record management, etc. File and retrieve documents in accordance with system. General administration in support of proposals and projects. Capturing and process management of purchase orders. Desired Experience & Qualification Have you completed a Degree in Marketing? Do you have a valiad drivers license and your own transport (you will be required to travel to the different stores)? Do you have 1 to 3 years experience as a Junior Marketing Coordinator or Junior Marketing Assistant or Marketing Intern? Do you have strong MS Office skills (including PowerPoint and Excel)? Package & Remuneration Salary Budget: +- R12,000 to R16,000 Cost to company per month (PLEASE NOTE: salary will depend on your current job level, years of relevant marketing experience, tertiary education, etc.)
